Shipping Procedures


Orders placed with MishaSF.com can be picked-up at our Polk Street store in San Francisco, or shipped to a desired address. When shipping a gift, please indicate this in the comment section of your order and we will not place a receipt in the gift package.  

Shipping:

 

Domestic Shipping
 
At Mishasf, we use the United States Postal Priority Mail Service, Federal Express Ground Service and UPS Ground Service for our shipping and delivery needs. Each provider is considered equal by MishaSF.com and our customers can expect delivery of their orders 4 to 7 business days after submitting an order.
 
Email communications are used by MishaSF.com for confirmations of each order and updates regarding shipping and tracking information (if applicable). Please ensure your email server is configured to allow delivery of emails from MishaSF.com. It is our customer’s responsibility to view and review the confirmation email for accuracy. Notify MishaSF.com immediately of any errors with your order. MishaSF.com will not be responsible for errors on orders discovered after the order has been shipped.
 
Please allow 24 to 72 hours for order processing. We will notify you by phone and/or email within this time if an item is unavailable. At MishaSF.com we stock all of the items on our website. 

Please note, if you place an order on a Friday or on a Holiday, the order will not be reviewed until the next business day.

Guidelines: Here are a few other guidelines we have regarding shipping:

-- Your order will be processed on the first business bay following the receipt of your order.
 
-- The time of shipment is determined by product availability. If an item is in stock, it will be shipped within 24-48 hours, after the first business day of receiving the order. If an item is not available for any reason, a Customer Service Representative will contact you by phone and/or e-mail to discuss any delays pertaining to an order.
 
-- Shipping charges are non-refundable.
 
-- Any order valued at $99 or more; is automatically shipped with a Signature Required. If you or someone you appoint, are at the shipping address to legally sign for, and take responsibility of the package when the Delivery Contractor arrives, a notice will be left. After 2 attempts of delivery - the package will generally be kept at your local post office for up to 15 days. If unclaimed, it should be returned to our warehouse. Upon receipt of the returned package, we can either refund the original credit card used subject to all shipping charges, and a 20% restocking fee, or we can re-ship the package for which there will be an additional shipping and handling charges.
 
If you would like to waive the delivery signature requirement, please note your intention to waive it in the “Ordering Instructions Box" portion of the order form. If you waive the Signature Service, MishaSF.com does not assume any responsibility if the package is lost or stolen.
 
-- Orders to P.O. Boxes and APO addresses are sent by USPS Priority Mail only. A MishaSF.com  Customer Service Representative will contact you if the shipping option you desire is not available.
 
-- Do not send large packages to apartment mail boxes, route boxes or heavily traveled areas by the general public.
 
   

Expedited Shipping:

We do not have Federal Express Overnight Delivery Service available. Express Mail shipping through the United States Postal Service is available to most areas and delivery can take anywhere from 2 to 3 business days. Please note, selecting Express Mail Delivery is NOT Overnight Service.
 
Email and Tracking:
 
Not all orders qualify or necessitate tracking, however we will send confirmation emails after the order has been placed and again when it has been shipped.  Email communications are used by MishaSF.com for confirmations of each order and updates regarding shipping, tracking (if applicable), and/or any alterations to an original order. Please ensure your email server continues to allow delivery of e-mail's from MishaSF.com.
 
Back-ordered items and shipping time:
 
The time of shipment is determined by product availability. If an item is in stock, it will be shipped within 24-72 hours (after the first business day of receiving the order). If an item is not available for any reason, a Customer Service Representative will contact you by phone and/or e-mail to discuss any delays pertaining to an order. Standard shipping takes 7- 14 business days to arrive. If the package does not arrive to your shipping address within 14 days from the date of your order, contact us immediately.

International Shipping:

Please do not email us your credit card number. Feel free to contact us by email with your order information, the credit card number can be faxed to (415) 704-3008 or you can call our warehouse directly at (415)673-3826. Please provide the following information:

-- Product name, price and quantity desired.
 
-- Country where the product is to be shipped.
 
-- Preferred shipping method.
 
-- Credit card number, by fax or telephone only.

Inquiries can be emailed to salesteam@mishasf.com. We will respond with a price quote for shipping your order to the country you designate. We accept international credit cards as payment subject to an additional 10% banking Service Fee. 
 
Please be aware that you are responsible for shipping costs regardless of whether you actually receive your package. MishaSF.com is not responsible for any tariffs, customs restrictions, or other regulations that apply in countries outside the United States. We encourage you to speak with your customs office if you have any questions. You alone are responsible for any duties or taxes that may apply to the shipment of any products to your country. By law, we are obligated to report the exact amount of the sale on the Customs Form. As a customer, you are responsible to comply with International, National and/or local laws regulating importation of products that you may purchase. It is entirely your responsibility to NOT order items that are illegal to import into your country. There is usually not an importation problem, but occasionally they occur. The risk is yours. You will be responsible for the entire package cost if it is seized and we do not get it back.
 
If for any reason the package is seized by Customs Officials, we will not issue you a refund unless all products are returned to us in their original condition. If the package is returned to us by Customs Officials, you are responsible for the original shipping charges and or any additional shipping fees required or demanded by the Unites States Postal Service.
 
If an order sent by us to you is refused delivery by customs due to unauthorized ingredients or contents, MishaSF.com is not to be held responsible for any losses or costs incurred by the customer. If the shipment is abandoned the customer will not receive a refund or credit of any kind. If in any case we received a return of any shipment refused by customs authorities of any country, MishaSF.com will credit the customer for the value of the unopened and un-tampered products purchased. No refund on shipping charges incurred for the return of the shipment or shipping charges sending the product.
  
Have a Return?

Orders valued at less than $50.00: You may simply return your unopened product and receipt within 15 calendar days upon receipt of order for a refund. A 20 % restocking fee is applied to all returned orders. When returning an order, include a copy of your receipt in the box. If you do not have your receipt, please indicate your name, address, daytime phone number and the reason for your return. A customer Service Representative will contact you when we receive your return.

Orders valued at more than $50.00- Prior to returning your package, please contact our customer service department to obtain an ARN, Authorized Return Number. Returns Valued at $50.00 or more will not be credited or refunded without an ARN.

A restocking fee of  20% applies to all returned/unclaimed products. We require returns of product to include Delivery Confirmation Service which usually costs about $1 when shipping by the United States Postal Service. In some instances we may require insurance for the value of the returned product.

-- All returns must be sent to us with the postage pre-paid.
 
-- After 15 days, there is no refund available.
 
-- Please review your order carefully and check for errors before submitting an order online. Also, we suggest you not place a large order of any product you are not familiar with. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
 
-- If the product arrives to you damaged in any way, you must contact us within 24 hours of receiving the product, or no credit will be issued. Please keep the damaged items in the original box for investigation. We will arrange to have representative of the Deliver Service pick up the damaged product after you contact us. Again, please keep the package in the same condition as when it arrived.

Refunds will be issued to the credit card account used for purchase within 2 - 4 business days of return receipt. If purchase was made with a check or money order, a company check will be mailed within 10 business days of return receipt. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
 
Order the wrong product?
 
You will need to ship the product(s) back to us (at your cost) in order to receive an exchange or a refund. . In addition, all returns must be sent with a delivery signature confirmation. You must request this when shipping your return through the United States Postal Service. This ensures we can all keep track of the location of the package if a problem should arise. . Please note customers are responsible for the postage on return items. After receipt and approval for credit (within 24-48 hours), We will credit your account within 2 business days. The return process may take up to 2-4 business days of receipt of your return. We reserve the right to refuse a refund if there is suspicion of abuse or fraud.

Refunds and Credits:

MishaSF.com will issue all refunds and credits to the original credit cards used in the original transaction. Although we may refund a transaction with our banking facilities on one day, these same charges may take 24-48 hours to appear on third party statements.

Delivery Determination:
 
All items purchased from MishaSF.com are made pursuant to a shipment contract. If an orders is shipped with a tracking number, both parties (The consumer and MishaSF.com ) agree to use the shipping contractor's tracking information as the final determinant in assessing whether or not a package has been delivered. If we ship a package, and the tracking information provided by the shipping contractor shows that the package did not arrive to you, it remains our responsibility to get a replacement order to you. If the tracking information provided by the shipping contractor indicates that the package was delivered, then we will consider the order, and contract to deliver said order to you, as complete. This contract commences at the time of shipment. Please be sure that your address is correct.
